as long as you kill the jammers first the Assault isn't that bad. that said I usually just blitz it. although a drone boat can make it easier (as long as they don't hit the triggers)

I'm usually against Serpentis so Damped down to oblivion or it takes 2 minutes to target a Frig. However with a Drone bonused ship (like Domi/RS) and LvL 5 for that BS skill + Drone Durability 5, T2 Gardes and a single Centum A-Type Medium RR (about $60 mil) my Sentries can usually tank the entire room. Every once in a while I'll have to pull one in, wait until they start wailing on another one, pull the first back out, rinse/repeat. All of this while I'm waiting to be capable of targeting anything to use my secondary weapons.

The Operative: "There are a lot of innocent people being killed in the air right now".

Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: "You have no idea how true that is".

I usualy do missions with a friend (nightmare/tengu & machariel/nightmare) and i multibox a noctis so i don't have downtime between missions. Salvaging + lootings does get you a lot of isk. Thats the reason why i always do full missions (Except some exceptions)

When I'm solo i'll usualy multibox those 3 accounts to keep me busy.

What i noticed is that you actualy get more isk for salvaging+looting than mission reward+lp+bounty(blitzing).

Damsel in distress, gone berserk, mining misapropiation, right hand of zazzmataz and stop the thief are all mercenaries (a lot of loot but poor bounty(gone berserker and damsel can give you between 15 to 25m on loot), except mining misapropiation that has almost 14m on bounty(and like 15 to 20 on loot))

Dread pirate scarlet, angel extravaganza, blockeade, world collide are excelent missions (last one has a change of faction rat with faction drops, angel has a change of a nice implant in the silo in the third pocket)

Assault is terrible, it has nice rewards and bountys but it takes forever, unless you have a full CNR thats it.

The rest of the missions are meh.

I don't recomend on farming a expecific mission, i usualy get, on 4hs playtime, at least 1 dread pirate, so there is no point on farming it (waiting for downtime to repeat), same with all other missions.

If you want to do missions properly you will need a second account with a noctis, loot plus salvaging pays for more than 2 plexes easily a month (depending on how much you play, sure, if you play 6hs a day you will get a lot LOT more) and you get more missions if you care to increase its standings.

Either way, doing incursions is a lot o fun compared to missioning. it has more isk/h and its more relaxed (some missions will stress the hell out of you, worlds collide, angel pocket; has like 15frigs that with point, web and target paint your t3)

Tengus take foreeeeevvverrrr and use a lot of ammo. for missions like Enemies Abound 4/5, you'll fall behind waves.

THE ****? I do 1000dps, i'm always waiting for the next spawn. The thing with the new hamgu's is their not for click orbit watch porn. You just have to manually pilot yourself so you can hop from spawn to spawn without waiting. When I have to reload, i'll stop at 1 and switch from rage to jav's if I have a bunch of frigs.

Tengu's are boss... there are better ships, but for the time it takes to fly one well they are great.

(i forgot to mention that. Enemies Abound part 4/5 spawns waves by time, not specific triggers and puts out 3000 dps if you let it go out of control. fully spawned targets list and what it does to a rattlesnake<-rescuing a nub alliance member's faction fit raven. that sucked.)

You mean 5/5

Guristas Extravaganza the Extravaganza missions were fun. gobs of targets, no real danger, decent profit. fun mission

Take's an hour to complete, poor salvage, and return's around 50-60m an hour. Don't farm, blitz... be happy. Killing all the BS in the last pocket boost your isk/hr if you do it fast.

Cargo Delivery is nice because targets come to you.

If I was cap boosted fit I want to try a full clear, as it stand's jav's take to long for me to bother. Looking at the bounties though, I'd just grab the cargo and run. Better return.

DO NOT SOLO THE ASSAULT. you will be jammed or Tracking disrupted or something, you need at least two ships, because they will ewar, web, and point you.

Tengu's never care about TD, Jamming? yeah it's annoying but if you know the suffix's to look for, it easy to pick them off before they are a threat.

Honestly atm I got SOO curious about what was the best way to go about making isk with missioning, that I made a spreadsheet. Honestly because I hate it, and I just want to make as much as quick. I use to farm. I'd find a hub with 2agent's in it, with 3accounts, it was easy to always have a daily stack.

Honestly... it's not worth it. You're better off blitzing mission's for a corp lp that's buy's at the very least 1500per. Not to mention when you actually look at the value's, you'll find so many of those **** missions you hated getting were paying you the most for the time spent. Aswell as those juicy missions you loved were nothing more then time sinks.

For instance GE/AE... if you blitz it all the way to the last pocket, in the last pocket ONLY kill scram/BS they'll pay you 120+m an hour. DO IT ALL... 50-60m an hour.

In fairness, room 1 of the assult *IS* bugged. The damping is foobar.

I ticketed it, it was attached to a defect. Hopefully they'll fix.

Until they do, room 1...extremely dangerous stuff if you're not expecting it.

In general Blitzing will net you more isk/h last I checked a few months ago (I just signed back up today, though it appears to be same story from a very quick glance). This is especially true if you have a character who is good at piloting a ship that is more tailored for blitzing.

For me I pilot the Tengu, before that Nighthawk, Drake, Caracal. So I have maxed out skills for heavy missile launchers. If you know how to fit it and what you are doing you can blitz missions decently well, just not as fast as the top dogs. Though what you are piloting is a very flexible ship that is easy to get into. I don't really blitz lv4's anymore I ended up going more into the industrial side of things for now because I don't always have time to play through missions. So my tengu has been refitted to be a fast align ship that uses a cloak and stupidly high EHP for when I am transferring high value/low volume items.

If I were starting from scratch and wanted to blitz missions I train for a Mach personally.

Little side note on piloting a Tengu and the other ships I mentioned, tracking disruptors, damps, etc don't bother us that much. If worse comes to worse and we don't pop them in time and we can't lock them we close in on them and load up FoF missiles orbit at close range and pop them.

I proximity aggress the left most group of 4-5 battleships, after clearing that, send cheap hobgob's (read hobgoblin I's) to aggress the 4 elite dampener ships. By the time they destroy a single drone ive usually pummelled 3-4 of them into oblivion. Usually I manage to get all 4 before my drone dies. Using a railgun based ship, ive found this to be the quickest way to do that room. My setup does 850 railgun dps @ 60km. Just my 2 cents.
