Cap Boosters for ASB's - Which ones?

Main's just bought a Hawk and stuck two medium ASB's on it for a bit of low/null solo roaming. Not having used ASB's much, I am at a loss to know which Navy Cap Booster charges to stick in. I'm leaning towards 100's and can fit 4 in each ASB. But should I use 50's instead and why?

Cap booster size has no effect on provided shield boost amount. Use the smallest you can, and it should be the smallest possible you can put in.

Roll navy 50s so you can fit more boost cycles in before reloading.

Fantastic. Thanks for taking the time to post guys. Big smile Just one more thing though. Mycael mentioned to fit the smallest you can. As there are no Navy 25's, should I fit standard 25's over Navy 50's?

If the ASB takes them and can fit more of them, YES. The cap booster it uses doesn't matter, it all provides the same shield boost the difference is in how many you can fit in it. In this case it's quantity over quality.

Cheers Boomhaur. I've just tried fitting 25's but they're apparently size 1 and the med ASB needs size 2. Thanks for taking the time to post though. :-)

Good advice is already here. So this is more or less a bump.

Always fit the smallest booster available to your ASB.
Navy variants will usually let you fit 1 more booster.

This will let you have MORE boost cycles from your ASB.

(I learned these facts the hard way)
