Please reply to this, if this is possible.

I know you can stretch out the game when running in windowed mode, but this will not work for me, since I have a small desk and it will only fit one monitor. So I have the second monitor to the side of me. Therefore running the came in such a way its not practical for me, nor is it very nice.

Is it possible to run Eve online in full screen on one monitor and only display maps and the market data on the second ?
i.e
EVE in full screen and i would still be able to use the second screen (to have a browser with the map open for instance).

Please reply if you know how to do this , or if you know it is possible or not . ( I hope so!! )

The way you'd do it is to extend your desktop to the second monitor and simply move the market and other windows you might want to the other one. As for the work around for space being stretched out for both monitors as well, there is really none. You can move the various elements such as targeted ships, the HUD display for modules, damage taken etc. The camera view in space however will be centered on your ship, which results it being in between both of the monitors. Same goes if you change your camera view to something else.

That said, if it's the browser you want, you could have an out of game browser in the second window. Regardless of what browser you'd use, the features woudl be much better and you could even have specific tabs open automatically for Eve whenever you open it.

OK, I see. that's a shame, because my two monitors are about 30 cm apart. so that wont work for me, is there no config file that i could change to only open the market window in the second monitor? , e.i . like you can in flight sims , showing only flight instruments on a second monitor .

anyway thanks for your reply.

If the second monitor has a lower resolution, you could still keep the first one so that your ship is visible there if that's what you want. That would still allow you to manually fly the ship when you want to and leave the second monitor for utility windows such as the map and market that you wanted. Obviously it wouldn't be centered on the first monitor but it'd still be better than nothing I guess.
