Alternate way to activate standing towards pirate factions?

Hi!

Is there any other way to activate standing (so that criminal connections will be taken into account) towards pirate factions other than finishing 16 normal missions and waiting for a faction mission?

Right now I got criminal connections 5 and want to access a lvl 2 agent, but because I never had any faction gain whatsoever, it just says 0.0 (neutral) in the standing journal.

Any advice will be helpful ;)

Just do the pirate epic arc for the comparative faction. boosts the standings no end. Can be done in a few hours and usually will give you access to lvl 4's afterwards.
