Hello,

Back before the patch rolled out, my tengu was pretty solid for explo (every explo item was fitted etc) but now I cant do any site (3/10 and 4/10) due to it's size. I would like to know why an attack battlecruiser and a command ship can enter a 4/10 but not a tengu. They are way bigger than I am and yet, cant fit in. Adding new items is fun and everything, but nerfing the tengu so much, site wise, is uncalled for. Could you please re-think that change? The only combat site I ran so far was the one with the control tower triggering an escalation. OPening up more combat sites would be pretty fun you know...

Best regards.

Could you please re-think the location of this post? Opening this thread in the correct forum would be pretty fun you know......

Nerfing High-sec is never the answer. It is the question. The answer is 'YES'.

Im switching over to a nighthawk with assaults and drones is 2x the ship than a T3. since the hacking stuff is a joke she'll just need the scanner and that's it. solved.

Being sarcastic also really helps. Plus this is mission & complexes section. How is this NOT the right section

You are asking for a change. I hear you do that in Features and Ideas.

Nerfing High-sec is never the answer. It is the question. The answer is 'YES'.

you cant take command ships in 3/10s

you can still scan sites with your tengu I guess ;D

All the ded 3s, 4s, watches and vigils can be done with a T1 cruiser, they give you a station in nearly every system to refit it for the site, and you can use a HAC if you want to avoid the need to refit.

There is no longer any need to fit an expanded launcher for highsec pve - so the tengu's extra fitting bonus is no longer required. The scanning bonus is also now found on modules as well as rigs.

CCP is unlikely to change this policy, because of the volume of complaints that racing tengus cause.

So now there's more diversity in the racing? T3's were just more convenient: scanning bonus, covops refit for escalations, ect. Nothing that would directly impact other players.

the change to not allow t3 CRUISERS in ded sites in hi sec is just stupid and not in the spirit of eve

taking away player choice should be reason enough for not doing it!!!

also having 1 ship to do your thing should be the goal of any pilot and since the t3 is the only ship with good bonusses for both combat and scanning its seems like an illogical step...

as it stand i might go into a sacriledge with a probe launcher and with decent skills you can still find the sites fairly easy

or so balls to the wall and just go with a scanning alt...

still the sites will get facer*ped by t2 cruisers so the "problem" is not solved by any means

GG CCP you suck at "fixing" problems

more experienced players will always have an advantage over newer players....

more skills = more dps
more skills = better tank
more skills = faster ship
more skills = better ship
more skills = easier scanning
more experience = easier to run the sites

Explain to be how removing t3 cruiser from hi sec fixes this?

Why don't you just go to lowsec and run sites there?

This one's a bit over the edge guys.

Locked for breaking... well, pretty much all the rules.

Because it's more profitable to do it in high, obviously.

Because a tengu is a cruiser and the others are not, seems simple to me

Just curious, but why would you need a Strat Cruiser for high sec exploration? There are much cheaper (and arguably better) ships to do that. Hell, even the free Gnosis is better for it.

Because if you actually did research before acting like a smug jerk, you would know that T3's no longer work in LOW SEC 3/10's and 4/10's either.

Heaven forbid risk = reward in this game.

Tradition defines and shapes a person, but should be evaluated frequently; far too often does Tradition no longer help, but hobble a person and stunt their growth. Especially a Capsuleer.
