The new Hookbill skin is even uglier. Digital urban camouflage has a place, but that isn't on a spaceship.

Nice topic, Jason.

It would be nice to have a CCP employee explain why one of the funniest gimick ships should loose a great deal of it's charm.

In my humble opinion I'd be quiet sad to fly a Comet without the blinky police light.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

No camo please. The cop design for the comet is already unique and should be on more gal navy ships. The hookbill camo paint is nice but doesn't really go with a space ship.

I've never liked the camo in space look. If you're going to start changing stuff move away from camo and more towards the way the comet looks now.

Space camo is ridiculous, sensors don't care what color your ship is. If you want the navy ships to be more "stealthy" for rp purposes then maybe reduce their signature radius so it takes longer to target them? Really the only effective camo in space if you were using visual sensors only would be a mirror finish. I've never flown a comet but it looked 9001% better before, and the blinking light was the cake on which the icing was applied since the ship really wasn't that spectacular in any other facet.

To all the camouflage haters, no matter how unrealistic it is, our Caldari Navy digital camouflage is and always will be awesome.

I do full-heartedly agree that the removal of the cop comet sucks, though. It will only be acceptable if CCP plans on giving all players brand-new faction-unique police frigates or cruisers for Christmas.

It would be a shame if the Comet were changed to the camo look just so it can be lumped in with the rest. It may make logical sense, but it takes away some of the fun.
