Shield Depleted Noise

Odyssey appears to have implemented this lovely new system where, if you shields are gone, there is a constant pulsing noise and red on the top and bottom of the screen. Only problem is, I'm armor tanked. This has been driving me nuts. I go into a mission and spend the entire time with a throbbing noise in my ears. I have been looking for a way to disable it but have found none. The alerts are enough for me. Once my shields are gone, I don't need a constant reminder of that fact. Does anyone know of a way to disable this?

There is an options menu on the HUD, bottom right of the circle. There is an option, "configure damage alert settings". That should be what you need.
