CCP have hinted at a 'surprise' in the Winter Expansion. Every previous such surprise has been a shiny (but usually completely useless) free ship. So, what do you think this year's free hangar bauble will be? Or will it be something completely different?

oh god im really hoping its a space monkey that you can train to sit on your shoulder while in the captains quaters- and when you leave him alone and return to him later he's got up to all kinds of mischief

Reprocessing the coal gives you a Santa hat for the character creator.
Reprocessing the Santa hat gives you a ship with a 1-1-1 slot layout, 1 cpu, 1 PG and a 200% damage bonus against the new tier 3 ships.

I think it will be a shiny but otherwise completely useless ship.

Though some shiny self-serving toys in the CQs would be more useful, considering the loneliness we all have to suffer.

fly into a belt and take aim and launch a micro veldspar roid at a hulk.... the hulk has to try lock and mine it before it hits the ship...if it does hit the hulk then its boom dead hulk

would be an epic way to clear out bots while leaving genuine players alone
