Possible scanning bug going live with Odyssey

As of right now on the test server, there's a bug when you change ships in space, that the scanner list doesn't populate. So, you might want to make sure you're in your scanning ship and BM every signature before changing ships. You can warp to anomalies from space, but even probing, you can't get sigs unless you change sessions or relog.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Most wormhole dwellers would sent a scout alt to check the hole while the original continues scanning...

Checked again with the release candidate on SISI, and the bug is still there. While I know most people will have scout alts and the like, I was just making it a point to mention it as a general FYI.

Working as intended. Who flies more than 1 ship anyway?

There is no Bob.

Appreciate the legwork on SiSi testing wormhole life-style related stuff mate, thanks!

CCP said they are aware of the issue and are on it.

Kind of depressing that CCP allowed such a terrible bug to go live in their "exploration" expansion.

Workaround for now is to relog after switching ships, but that's really annoying and I hope this gets fixed soon.

Yeah, they knew about the bug but still decided to release a buggy product. Very bad move IMO.

you can switch on your scanner to scan every 10 secs or so automatically . on the scan icon next to your shield/armor/hull , press scan icon and keep it pressed , you ll get some round menu , you can switch it on/off here . it will show anoms and sigs .

Ejecting from ship clearing the sig list now fixed on Tranquility.

However, if you probe something and leave another signature out of the probe range & recall your probes, the unprobed signature doesn't reappear on the list. You can still see it on the overlay but the signature list doesn't get repopulated on probe recall.

Also, if you use combat probes and recall them, the signatures (ships, structures etc.) stay on the signature list and don't get cleared.

Seems like the signature list should get repopulated on probe recall but it doesn't.

Still doesn't work for me--I was unable to see any sigs or anomalies after switching ships at an SMA.

Edit: Seems to work when I switched from a ship I've never probed on. If I switched from a ship that I'd done probing on, nothing shows up.

More details:
If I've probed with a ship and ignored all the sigs, when switching ships, all of the sigs show up as "filtered" when using any filter other than "Show All." If I click "Show" next to the "X Filtered" text, it will switch back to the "Show All" filter and show all of the sigs. If I manually switch to another filter, it will once again filter out the previously-scanned sigs, even if they would normally show with the selected filter.

So yeah, this isn't fully fixed.
