Player Features and Ideas Discussion

A while back (I can't find the devblog) there was mention in a devblog or some other official CCP channels a desire to change how clone upgrades work. I think the idea was around it not making since to force people to pay millions more just for having played to game longer. I think the idea was that clone upgrades would be a one time thing. Or at least you pay a large fee once and then a smaller fee for every clone you replace. What ever happened to that idea? Right now if I jump into a T2 fitted frigate even without implants my clone is worth more than the ship, and that seems a little off.
