Since the Odyssey patch, undocking no longer preserves your camera (zoom, mostly), even if you don't change your ship. This is important when undocking from busy market hub or hostile stations, so you can warp to an undock bookmark quickly. It's also an unnecessary hassle for miners and missioners, or anyone who docks/undocks frequently.
