"I survived the 2013 DDoS" shirts for our eve characters. I don't ever buy vanity items with money or isk, but I will DEFINITELY buy those.

Reposting because it disappeared... not sure why it disappeared.

The best place to gather enough approval for the idea is in Features & Ideas Discussion though. Thread moved.

Yes, this is most defo required
Obviously must be buyable only by accounts/toons that were active during the DDOS who it won't mean much ;) lol

I think it will just give way too much attention to this DDoS attack and make it like it really meant something.

Yo, New Eden, got capsuleers in da house. What's up? And their pimped rides. Yo, capsuleer, if ya want me to unpimp your ride, lemme hear ya say Wat?

One should be given to each account, much as the Gnosis were, to commemorate surviving the DDOS :)

There's nothing wrong with giving it attention. It's already been featured on many major gaming news sites, etc. The issue has been resolved, CCP handled it very well, and it should be something that is remembered. Trying to make people forget about it only hurts, to be honest. That's a tactic Blizzard and other major game companies would take. Trying to ignore something tends to bring more attention to it, and give the illusion you have something to hide. CCP really have nothing to hide in this. They have published a full disclosure of what happened and resolved the issue in what is a very timely manner. A DDoS is not something that is easy to remedy.

One size doesn't fit all. Two for each account. One male version and one female version. Preferably lime green with white text.

Notification: Because I'm lazy, I have a tendency to post without proof reading. This may result in various errors including but not limited to typos, weird typos, grammatical errors, bizarre sentence structure, words written repeatedly, mislocated paragraphs, pointlessly complicated explanations, general incoherency, and abrupt endings.

Agreed, I think this is the approach they would take.

I agree with giving them out for free to all currently active accounts. Trying to sell them would be... sort of a slap in the face to most. Though honestly I wouldn't really care either way. I don't mind paying ISK for one off the market, and at the same time because of this DDoS I'm sure CCP have expended a significant amount of money in the past few days resolving the issue, so selling them would help cover that. If they want to give me one for free, then all the better.

U'r probably still mad, me too. But in a week or so nobody will still care about this DDoS attack or about that T shirt, especially with the new expansion coming. This Is not the first DDoS attack and it will not be the last one I'm sure.

+1 and free! It wouldn't cost much in Dev time (I imagine) and would be a nice reward for our patience and our support. I've never asked for anything free from CCP before but this would be a nice to have (Especially after the Lulzsec DDoS in '11).

Maybe even a "We Lulz about it now" T-Shirt as well...or "DDoS On Tour"...or "Who's Lulzing now?"

It will always mean something, but if it gets laughed off in some way it'll loose more of it's negative effect and be easier to deal with
