Cant fly cap ships i could before

If you have the skills injected you can still fly those ships. Did you even try before bursting into tears?

You should still be able to fly it, even if the pre-requisites say you can't. Happened on my alt with my Charon. I can fly it but it says I need 21 days to fly it.

If this is not happening might actually be because of some very precise skill limit pre requisites but in the end all you can and should do is petition and wait for an answer, CCP will not leave any injustice going on about this and they know some stuff might have got forgotten or screwed, just petition and wait your answer.

Haven't check yet but I'm not even worried about this, if something goes wrong I know they will set it right, everything they need to do it is clear arguments, screenshots and eventually check on our good friends Chribba data backup (even if they have theirs).

I fly Chimera for instance, the primary skill required is Caldari Carrier, and since all of the tertiary skills are a pre-res for Caldari Carrier, and I have that skill, I meet the requirements...even though I dont have the tertiary skills. Is this making sense?

Bottom line is, if you could fly it before you can fly it now. The Pre-Res window may say you cant, but if you could you still can.

If you could sit in the ship before the patch, you can sit in it now, I've tried it with 2 chars in command ships, both have command ship 4 both are missing at least 2 of the leaderships skills to 5.

If however you trained all the old pre-reqs and didn't inject and train the command ships, or whatever carrier/dread skill to 1 then tbh your a ****** and you get what you deserve, these changes to skills have been known about for a long time.

I can still fly the ships sorry for not thinking i could get in ships without the skills. Because that's such an idiotic mistake to make

The primary skill required is Capital Ships level 1. The secondary skill required is (in the pic) Amarr Carrier level 1. There is no tertiary skill. All that's required to fly this ship is Amarr Carrier level 1 and Capital Ships level 1. Everything else listed is prerequisites for these skills.

My mistake; however, my point being

You need the pre res for Carrier and Capital ship but if you have those trained then no need to worry about new skill. So I wasn't completely wrong, I just worded it weirdly since I wasnt aware they crapped out the tertiary skill set for the ship requirements. As you can see, tertiary skills very much are still required for Carrier skill, but if you already have it trained, then you dont need to train the new requirements.
