How to turn off the Shield-Sound when Armor-tanked?

It keeps ringing and ringing, how can the shield-collapse sound be stopped if youre armor tanked?

Don't know a direct answer, but may I suggest taking a look in the sound or gameplay menu?

Set the alert threshold to 100? An armor-tanked ship will rarely regen to full 100% shield so it should sound only once.

Or maybe setting it to 0 disables it completely.

There's a little tiny square above the overload bubbles click it and choose overload options -> set shield alert to 0.
