Need a good T1 pvp fit (I know right?)

I am looking for a Gallente T1 Ship (any hull or class Sub-Cap) with only T1 fittings.

I'm kinda new to PVP and I don't want waste the time training T2 Hybirds if T2 Projectile Guns are better etc etc. thats why I would like to see what kinda T1 Fits I could use to get decent results before investing hours upon hours training for skills that could be better off used elsewhere.

Thanks Everyone and fly safe.

I suggest going over to Battleclinic and playing around with the tags on the right side. Adjust them to show loadouts from all time listed by rating, then click the tags you want, i.e. PvP, armor tank, etc". You can even type "gallente" in the search box to only show gallente ships!

That being said, I would highly recommend a myrmidon for small gang PvP. They're quite versatile, and you can even put projectiles on them if you decide you only want to train those. :)

Ok so... for a cheap T1 fit, T1 ship you have a few options... nearly all of which employ either suicidal or borderline suicidal tactics.

Use Meta equipment if you can.

You have the trusty Incursus...

[Lows]
Damage Control I
Co-Processor I

[Mids]
Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters
Warp Scrambler I
Stasis Webbifier I

[Highs]
Light Ion Blaster I
Light Ion Blaster I
Light Ion Blaster I

[Rigs]
(empty)
(empty)
(empty)

[Drones]
Warrior I

Not the best fit in the world (someone will come up with something better). Basically you drive right in, try to scram-web the target, overload your guns (if you can), and shoot to kill.

You then have the not-so-subtle Thorax...

[Lows]
Damage Control I
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I
800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
Magnetic Field Stabilizer I

[Mids]
Y-T8 Overcharged Hyrdrocarbon I Microwarpdrive
Warp Scrambler I
Stasis Webbifier I

[Highs]
Heavy Ion Blaster I
Heavy Ion Blaster I
Heavy Ion Blaster I
Heavy Ion Blaster I
Heavy Ion Blaster I

[Rigs]
(empty)
(empty)
(empty)

[Drones]
5x Vespa EC-600

Same tactics as with the Incursus... but this time you have ECM drones. Pray they get a cycle or two off to give you an edge. Beware, people tend to primary this ship as it has a reputation for dishing out DPS and being relatively "soft."

And you have my personal favorite, the Vexor...

[Lows]
Damage Control I
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I
1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I

[Mids]
Y-T8 Overcharged Hyrdrocarbon I Microwarpdrive
Warp Scrambler I
Stasis Webbifier I

[Highs]
Small Nosferatu I
200mm AutoCannon I
200mm AutoCannon I
200mm AutoCannon I
(empty)

[Rigs]
(empty)
(empty)
(empty)

[Drones]
2x Ogre I
2x Hammerhead I
1x Hobgoblin I
5x Warrior I

With the Vexor you gain a bit of tactical flexibility.
- You can alter the fit so it is lighter and can kite (not recommended IMO)
- You can fit a Warp Disruptor and drop the Web for a cap booster so you can stay at range.
- You can reduce the plate to an 800mm one if you want to fit medium blasters.

I personally prefer the "brick" fit above as it's a tough sucker to kill in a 1v1 (or even 1v2). People also underestimate the Vexor and how much DPS it can pump out.

And one last thing...
use higher Meta equipment if you can.
They generally use up less CPU/Powergrid/capacitor and have better stats. Some of them are DIRT cheap.

As a sooper-scrub to Eve, I went over to the Eve University website and looked at what they recommended:

Gallente ship fittings.

I don't know how viable these are, or how up to date, but I used their advice to outfit my Kestrel. Just reading what they had written showed me how shoddy and haphazard my different ship fittings were.

-----> EDIT <-----

I'd like to point out that I would totally take a Tristan over the Incursus. But part of the reasoning is that I have pumped my missile skills, as a Gallente you may not have.

If you have any comments regarding Battleclinic, I'd gladly like to hear them. As Assistant Community Manager, my goal is to make the site as easy to follow as possible for new and old players alike.

Also, solo myrm is awesome. Dual armor reps plus 220's and lots of mids makes for a mean boat! :)

The only problem i have is the sheer amount of fits for each ship type - which wouldn't be a problem except for the amount of fits put on there as a joke. just needs a clean up imo. Apart from that its extremely good.

If you adjust the filters, then you shouldn't really see the joke fits. Just search by loadouts from all time and by rating highest to lowest. We also have a recommended tag that only moderators can use, so you'll see only serious fits if you check those out.

Thanks again for all the help guys... and I never though about using Eve-Univ. thats a sweet idea.... and I agree Battleclinic has way to many fits and some of the decent fits (At least that I might like) are hidden in the middle of the huge jungle of FITs. :D

T1 + PVP + Gal Ships + Winning = Thorax.

I'm back!
