Recovering impounded items

The rent on my corps office lapsed, stuff got impounded. I re-rented the office expecting to find all my corps stuff back, but nothing. Is there a time delay?

The corp is currently just me and my alts, so no corp theft involved.

IIRC you don't re-rent the office, there's a separate function for releasing the items from impound...

...but it's been a long time since I had to do it, so I could be mistaken.

Last time I was silly enough to let office rent expire I just rerented an office at the same station. All the impounded stuff was in the new office, though unfortunately all jumbled together in the first hangar tab. I don't remember there being a time delay, if there was, I am sure it wasn't longer than the next downtime. That was maybe 6 months ago, I seriously doubt the system has changed. If there is some system to retrieve goods from impound without rerenting I don't know how it works. You are sure you checked the first hangar tab with a character who has query access to it?

Perhaps the recent network attacks have glitched the database somehow. You may need to petition. As with all glitches, clearing cache is worth a try.

It is impossible to re-rent the same office. Every office has a unique ID in the database, and you get a new ID every time you rent an office.

Check the "Deliveries" if you have paid the arrears.

Hmmm, I now have one blueprint back. Maybe it is just a result of the network nuking yesterday. If it's not all back by tomorrow evening I guess it's petition time

If you "rent office" in the same station WITHOUT paying to have items returned that are impounded, they will be placed in the FIRST Corporate Hangar tab. My Corp has 8 Hangar tabs, had stuff in 5 of them when I couldn't get on this weekend to pay the bill so it lapsed. I decided to rent office first to see if I could bypass the fee, and it put it all in the top (first) Hangar. I DID NOT PAY THE IMPOUND FEE to get the stuff back, I just rented a new office in the same station and it was all returned to the Corp.

Same thing happened to me. Just rented the office at the same station again and it was all back in the top hangar.
