Hello all,

I am one of those few people who quite enjoy PI. However I do think that it needs to be expanded upon, more skills effecting PI stuff, more structures, etc.

About buildings, anyone ever played SPORE? Remember how the cities worked in the planetary and space stage? What I would like to suggest is that Command Centre Upgrades becomes something like City Management - 1 additional 'city' per level, which can amount to the same amount of CPU/PG as a fully upgraded command centre.

As for factories, they would take up slots in each city and more importantly be upgradable. So you could have one factory upgraded (another skill - Factory upgrades) to produce 2,3,4,5x the input product with a resulting increase in CPU and PG demands.

Space ports and extractors I reckon would stay separate to cities but still draw on the cities for CPU and PG. Or maybe space ports become built in with a resulting decrease in CPU and PG.

As for transport links I am not entirely sure, make them only used for linking different cities or keep them as they are in and out of cities.

Additional buildings - Power plants (+PG), Control hubs (+CPU), Merc Bunkers for the dust bunnies, a whole range of defensive installations that take up slots on the city walls, That Gun from the DUST trailers.

Not sure but I do not believe that EVE players have any influence over how a DUST mission map looks, this could go some way to making EVE players able to influence how such a map looks.

Additional skills - Factory upgrades, Environmental Harshness Mitigation (reduces effects caused by a planets harsh environment which leads to the need for some penalty on using planets that have harsh environments. Temperate and oceanic planets might be perfect but barren, gas, lava, storm and plasma wouldn't be)

Anyway, I have blathered on for long enough. Any thoughts?
