We've all been afk, and had some1 call us, and little do they know, we r not there. Even better, they start telling u a story, and ur not even there to respond.

i suggest a custom status indicator for your corp/alliance/public channels, however not local!

an example would maybe be a light, where it lists your name, put a small yellow ball to indicate your afk, brb, active, ect. players should have a choice whether or not it's automatic.

OR

instead of lights that mean certain things, after ur name in the list, in () it would say ur status that u could customize. an example of this would be: TerrorSquadMF(AFK) or TerrorSquadMF(Active) or TerrorSquadMF(On an CTA)

to make things easy, make it player customizable, per channel maybe? Also limit it by characters, no1 wants to log into corp chat and see: TerrorSquadMF(BRB i'm going to grab some bacon, maybe will take 30 minutes? i went afk at 13:50 eve time) 10 characters would be more then plenty.

now of course this wouldn't show in local, u wouldn't want your war targets to know u r afk or fitting.

i think this will really be useful in corp chats, and public chats with ur old friends.
