Dear CCP


You're launcher is giant heap of cow dung that none of us actually want. Much the same as walking in station and the mongoloid thing of a expansion you called Incarna. If you are so inclined to publish this turd please have the common decency to allow us to bipass it. It adds nothing of value and only cause your customers inconvenience so please kindly **** off.

Major Complaints about launcher.

1) One more thing for GPUs to render.

2) Launcher Cache only remembers 7 accounts.

3) Extra steps to login.

4)So far its a buggy piece of crap that just causes nothing but problems.


SUGGESTION

You're obviously switching to this convoluted turd so you can force feed us advertisement when we are forced to look at it to login.
Instead of this giant piece of dung why not use the way we login now only when your looking at the login screen you can plaster the whole thing with cool advertisements to peddle your goods and services.


Or you can do what you did in Incarna and see where that road leads you. Also you can lock this thread and try to silence the community we all know how that works out too.

if you don't like it, just close your eyes when logging in... for me the launcher is fine you people make up everything, don't be so sensitive

Then close it. Also if your GPU or CPU has any trouble with the launcher then you should probably avoid running the EVE forums while you're at it...


That part's being worked on.


Before:
1. Open launcher, which auto-closes if you had it set to and opens EVE
2. Choose username
3. Enter password
4. Click login
5. Choose character
6. Return to step 1 for additional accounts

Now:
1. Open launcher
2. Choose username
3. Enter password
4. Click login, EVE client launches and automatically logs into the account
5. Choose character. If no additional characters to log in, stop here.
6. For additional accounts, click switch user account in launcher
7. Return to step 2

Logging in, whether single or multiple accounts, doesn't require any more steps than before (and before some idiot says "but 7 is greater than 6" note that it loops back to step 2, not step 1 as in the process before the new launcher).


It works fine for me, and lots of other people.
