EVE General Discussion

so with the t3 cruiser and new battlecruisers, i cant help but think about industry.
eve is built around pvp, but industry is the backbone, someones gonna need a new ship afterall.
that being said i would like to get some ideas flowing for t3 industry similar to strategic cruiser customizability..

my thoughts is a focus on certain areas:
cargo capacity
tractor range
ice mining
ore mining
gas mining
foreman link
and mining drone (make them more than a mere afterthought, u should be able to make a drone barge)
defence (null can be evil at times)
offense (if ur drone mining, maybe be able to pop rats)

im envisioning the bonuses making it on par or "slightly" under par of the current barges, haulers, boosters.
but being able to customize it like t3 cruiserswould enable some unique designs (boost barges, drone mining haulers)
naturally, mix and match modules is going to make a boost barge that doesnt boost as much as an orca, or mine as much as a hulk, but thats just my thoughts.
i really would love a drone barge, mining drones dont see enough use in my opinion.

please comment with your ideas or thoughts on mine. lets get some good t3 indy ideas flowin

+1 for the idea. Perhaps not necessary for a T3 mining cruiser/ship. But definitely a more specialized ship (flexible).

I'm pretty sure "t3" modified "cruisers" and and "new" modified "battlecruisers". Proximity in a sentence is important.

If you are familiar with the english language at all u would know that the word "and" separates nouns, modifiers, phrases, etc. So he is clearly making a difference between T3(strategic cruisers) and new battlecruisers(tier 3).

Had he meant (incorrectly) Tech 3 battlecruisers he would have stated "t3 cruisers and battlecruisers".... which he didn't.

Go back to school for a few years till u learn the english language..........

While the trolling may be going over the top a little it is really annoying how many people think there are going to be tech 3 battlecruisers in the winter expansion only because people cant be bothered to type tier 3 instead of t3.
t3 = tech 3.
tier 3 = tier 3.

As for the topic itself, now that ccp is back on the right track I expect new t3 (TECH 3) ships as well, sooner or later. But I definitely want to see t3 frigs and bs's before industrials.
