will skill split affect unsubbed accounts?

i have a friend who has 10+ accounts, and he is worried that if he dosent get his plexing done before the expansion that not all of his toons will get the split, and thus the free sp, because they wont be subscribed.

ive attempted to convince him that he is wrong, but he doesnt seem to believe me or the rest of my corp no matter what i say.

can i get someone to explain that there is no way to avoid this change, or to not get it, subscribed or not?

There is no way to avoid this change. Every single character in the game will be affected by this, whether they have an active subscription or not. They're not changing the characters, they're changing the database itself and characters will inherit the change from that.

If unsubscribed characters don't get changed, then those characters will have skills that no longer exist afterwards. Meaning that CCP will alter unsubscribed characters because leaving them unchanged will mean leaving those characters broken.
