Not quite. it's not the same start menu we all know and love.

It'll still take you to the ****** tile based touch screen shite.

In a few moments you will have an experience that will seem completely real. It will be the result of your subconscious fears transformed to your conscious awareness.

Hey, atleast you don't have to do that stupid mouse gesture, or hit the start key.

Heh, stardock made a pretty penny selling a program that made the start menu come back, guss Micro$oft didn't want to see a potential money stream crop up like that Evil

Surprice!

It is amazing how fast some (or rather most) companies can change their minds when it comes to money. Then it really doesn't matter that they had a vision about making a better future or whatever they call it.

I don't see what we need a start menu for. Just put the stuff you use on the new start page.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Now this is good news. I don't use windows 8, but my parents do- and every once in a while when they somehow manage to mess things up and want me to fix their computer again this OS sends me into a fit of rage.

In related news, Bambi's mother survived the shooting and surgeons were able to save Simba's dad with bionic limbs worth 6 million $.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

It won't make much difference at my workplace, as the person using Windows 8 in our newest computer already learned how to go to desktop mode right after start and stay clear from the stupid touchscreen thingie. Which, btw, it's too wide for the 4:3 screen she uses. Roll

but but but it is different so I don't like it!

my win 8 (surface pro) experience is damn near identical to my win7 habits. explorer, media player, web browser, and eve are all on the taskbar. I honestly rarely use anything else (okay I use the start menu to get to MS Office, although I've been using word enough I just pinned it to the taskbar on my win7 desktop). Although I do like the calendar and weather app in win8.

As much as I understood the joke, trust me, you can can gauge precision tools on how much people hate change and wont budge , not even in microns , regarding the attitude.

I for once love and loathe change.
