A general chat channel for wormhole residents

Don't know if it's been brought up before, but since no one answers in the usual "local" out here in wormholes, wouldn't it be nice to have a general "WH local"-channel where questions for newcomers might be asked and answered, sacrifices to bob might be boasted, warcries of revenge might be heard of...for example. It might be to big for one channel, but lets say 6 of them, one for each wormhole class? Or maybe depending on the static? Or both?
Is it a "gtfo!!!!"-idea or something to work on?

We let our blasters do the talking, just warp yourself to the sun of any hole you come across to and type "come at me suckers" in local and you'll make new friends guaranteed.

That said, there's several channels like that already.

I honestly think there is a "wormhole" channel. I think you can find it in the channel list.

the wh advice chan was setup recently for this kind of thing.
the pub chans of large wh groups tend to be fairly active too.

This is true, although the channel is going to become an "alumni" channel after the alliance closes. I would also suggest the "wh advice" channel for the future, or the public channels of our spin-off alliances. Blink

Jokes aside, I look for that wh advice channel and some public ones. Seems like my idea is redundant, tried to google it but found nothing. Thanks though Smile

1st off there is already a channel in which half of w-space is in called WH overlords (even eve uni is in it!!!)

Most people just hang around in popular pub chans such as: ApertureCOM, Talocan United or Bite-me.

Maybe we should make a sticky with all the general free non-invite wormhole channels that are there.
The first channel everyone can find is in the general channel sectie content and is named wormholes .
So maybe here a list of those i know :
Wormholes
whadvice
Wspace Colonists

There are also a lot of public channels from corps/alliances but you can already find that in a sticky on this forum.

No local in null sec would fix everything!

there are a few, search the forums. just this past week i seen a post on wh chat channels... i entered the chat and found czmulti in there as a diplo, and i closed the chat. nuff said. gl though.

you could also join wormhole overlords channel, you need atleast a 2 man corp with 1 kill in nullsec per month
