Battleship NPC BPO Prices? [Odyssey]

So I heard a rumor that the prices for the BPOs that are seeded to the market for Battleships will be going up significantly. And in the past, this has happened already to Battlecruisers (and probably the others, my knowledge does not reach that far back).

I just wanted to know what your thoughts were, as I hear absolutely no one talking about this or even really reacting to its possibility.

Yes, they will go up.

My thoughts are, check out the volumes in the past few weeks on BPOs. There will be a player held supply for a long time.

The BPO cost is based on some wizardry calculations.

A wizard reliably informed me that it is "Base price * 10"....Note that the base price is based on some very wierd mineral numbers.

However, what this adds up to is the Domi for example costing 625m or so now, will be around 1.6bn

That's right, I completely forgot that the BPO price is based on the mineral amount used to build the item, so of course it will go up. I guess I am surprised there are not more people talking about it since all this stuff is already on the test server.

You missed the boat there, sorry.

Smart investors noticed that all prices on the test server are 100 isk, and have been dumping stock like crazy (Apart from ammo and other things under 100 isk, which have been bought in insane volumes)

It's only time to buy BPOs if you plan to use the BPOs. There will a gut on the market for a while. The way to have made isk would have been to research the BS BPOs in question and sell them on contract to people scrambling to build BS this week....

I didn't notice any NPC Battleship blueprint prices increase. But I was only paying attention to T1 Battleships.

Did anyone else notice anything?

How do you dump stock when everything can be bought at 100isk, but there are no buy orders to dump to??

I can, and have made over 4 billion isk in under ten minutes on SiSi. It involves insurance payouts at TQ prices, and capital ships bought at 100 isk.

The economy on SiSi is meant to be meaningless, you can test anything you want, provided you have the skills trained for it. if not, show up for some mass tests and get millions of free skill points on the test server.

Insurance fraud is the most common way of raising isk for testing purposes.

If you need isk on SiSi and are to lazy to raise it yourself, i will give you 1 billion isk on SiSi for every 100 million isk you give me on TQ.

ITT We learn that CCP need to seed the skill to enable Bugsey to get past Level 1 on understanding whether a post is srs or not.

We also learn that not everything on test server is 100 isk, and that some items are currently at least 1bn higher than they are on TQ

only because you can print your own isk on SiSi.

Was nice when they seeded all the faction modules a while back. I wish you could keep your stuff from one mirror to another.

And yeah I got it was a joke, but the really funny thing is there are lots of players that still complain about having no isk on SiSi. Even if you can not fly caps, grab the ship with the highest insurance payout you can and get blown up, or self destruct a bunch of them.

My offer still stands, hell make it 10 billion on SiSi for every 100 million you give me on TQ....Twisted
