Report from a Caldari news source stated that they saw a 90 second holoreel of what appeared to be State Executor Tibus Heth smoking "a glass pipe"... in a Crash House from known Crash dealers. Reporters said that Tibus Heth was clearly visible and he was seen clearly using a Crash Pipe.

Crash being highly illegal in Empire space is even more so when turned into its crystalline form and 'smoked'. (Burned in a pipe and inhaled). The substance is typically mixed with other stimulants like dried and ground Frentix and Mind Flood. It is then followed up with a chaser of Blue Pills and a can of Quafe brand 'Red Bull' that can lead to an incredible "high that can last for days".. followed by incredible lows that can destroy an individuals capacity to function until the next "high". This is highly addictive and can lead to permanent clone damage and severe neuroses.

Is Tibus Heth a Crash addict? Unknown at this time as the authenticity of the report cannot be confirmed. Reporters said that the owners of the holoreel wanted a ridiculous amount of ISK and while they believe 'the Caldari public had a right to know' they would not pay for this news out of principle.

In this capsuleers opinion, given the unstable political situation among the Caldari and the timing of this 'news' is just a little too coincidental and appears to be politically motivated. I suspect that it is fake.

It would however explain an awful lot.

Crash is a granulated powder snorted nasally, you dolt. You don't "smoke" it.

My friend Andreus is correct... it can be snorted. (Also injected, consumed and inhaled). In the snorting method it is absorbed by osmosis in the nasal membranes and lungs. There is another form of osmosis absorbtion of drugs done by inserting it... well I'll leave you to search the holoreels and figure that one out for yourself...

Astrid, I have never heard of this star system 'Toronto'... it sounds like a vile place run by the barbarian tribes of Molden Heath. Should I ever be caught in the hell of a DVP wormhole I'll be sure to bring a supply of tea leaves with me to end my misery and barring any clone failures, I would awake among family, friends and nice people in star system Vancouver. ;)

I'd like to see Muck Raker do it. She tends to atleast make it entertaining.

Not to mention that her stories actually manage to contain some faint glimmer of a tangential relationship with the truth.

Are you reading the same Muck Raker as the rest of us?

I do this for many reasons. I do it because I believe it is right. I do it because I will profit by it. These all consolidate into one reason: I do it because I can.

The Muck Racker seems like an equal-opportunity raker of muck. This just seems like-- what. Terrible Gallente nationalist tabloid stories?

This is bad, and you should feel bad.

The whole "OH NOEZ DIZ POLITICIAN DOEZ DRUGZ GUIZE!" tabloid story is so cliche.

And since when does the Federal Navy Academy give courses on bad journalism?

No. This isn't how Crash works.

"Crash" specifically refers to the powdered preparation of a very, very powerful tropane alkaloid stimulant. If you burn it, it'd be like burning sugar - it'd just melt and give off black smoke. There is a way to prepare the same base stimulant such that it can be ingested via inhalation, but the chemical composition is sufficiently different that it can't be classified as Crash.

Either way, Tibus Heth was most certainly not seen at a Crash den, smoking Crash or otherwise.
