Sell Order Problem

I've set up a sell order for quite some Pyerite in Jita for one day. I had no buyer so the order was deleted after it had expired. But the Pyerite worth of several million ISK was not added to my item hangar. Where has it gone? I'm quite new, sorry for this being a dumb question... Straight

as far as I know it should have been placed back in your hangar. Try checking assets, the little safe icon on the left hand side. try using the seach feature in that window to find it. If its no there, perhaps petition it with ccp.

It is very rare to make an order less than 2 weeks. Most people use 90 days, the maximum. You can always change the price of an order or cancel it.

Not a dumb question, more a dumb game mechanic.


When a order expires, you will get the stuff back after the next downtime.
However, if you manually cancel an order, you get the stuff back instantly.

Also, as setting up a 1 day sell order will cost exactly the same as a 90 day sell order (which you can modify in price or cancel) there is no reason NOT to put up a 90 day sell order.

When a order expires, you will get the stuff back after the next downtime.
However, if you manually cancel an order, you get the stuff back instantly.

Also, as setting up a 1 day sell order will cost exactly the same as a 90 day sell order (which you can modify in price or cancel) there is no reason NOT to put up a 90 day sell order.

There are quite a few of us who hang around here who have played many aspects of the game, personally if I can't learn almost every aspect of that profession it isn't fun for me. Also I like j'poll but why do you always beat me...
