Dear CCP,

Please make an EVE Windows 7 theme pack. I love the voice in EVE and would love a theme pack with it included!

Make one? A search on google revealed a couple.

Through the use of an ancient technology called "google" I found THIS after ca. 30 seconds.

There are plenty of aura soundpacks on eve-files if you would like her to comment on everything you do in windows.

Downloaded that theme pack. It's nice but I can't stand the constant music playing. Why anybody would want that is beyond me. Ill have to look into how to disable the background music later.

The backround music should stop right after it's played for the first time. But you can always change every windows sound in the control-panel under personalization right between window color and screen saver. Just put the soundfiles you would like to use in your documents folder (they have to be .wave-files afaik) and attach them to the event you want them to go (...browse).

After you are done right click on your theme and click "save for sharing" so you don't have to worry with accidently deleting the sound or wallpaper files.

Navigate to: Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Personalization > Sounds

Click the "Sounds" tab in the window that opens, if it isn't selected by default.

Ensure sound scheme "Quirky (Modified)" in selected in the "Sound Scheme" dropdown box.

In the "Program Events" window scroll down to the line item "Windows Change Theme" and select it. With that item selected, in the "Sounds" dropdown box near the bottom of the window change the setting to "None."

Apply your changes and close the window. That will disable this sound from playing. Though I do believe it will only play once, when you first applied the theme, in the first place.

Cheers.

Errors don't bother me, but I'd crap my pants if they made the low hull sound.

The eve store needs to have an alarm clock that blares the Hull alarm sound.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
