Omir Sarikusa liberated by recent Blood Raider activities ?

Last year, Gutter Press reported on the rumour that notorious Blood Raider leader, the half-Amarr-half-Caldari tyrant Omir Sarikusa, was imprisoned in the Oyonata system.

Today, a Blood Raider agent, exclusively revealed to Gutter Press that Omir Sarikusa was "never imprisoned in Oyonata" !

This means that any reports to the contrary are probably Imperial Propaganda!

Deceitful!

The Blood Raider agent went on to claim that the recent raids on a number of sites in The Bleak Lands, were simply "retrieving their property", and that "The Faithful" are numerous and active!

Worrying!

Imperial sources were tight-lipped on what exactly was going on, and why Omir Sarikusa is still reported as being a prisoner.

Is it a clone? an impostor? Is Omir Sarikusa secretly Uriam Kador's half-brother?

Gutter Press will find out!

Rumours, Wars, Rumours of Wars, Wars of Rumours!

I thought Silas had liberated him? Or at least liberated his head from his neck.

Disappointing.

No. This was addressed last year.

Omir's Sect and my own have several aligned objectives in the Kingdom which we are eagerly bringing to fruition.

You'll see.

This is insulting. Many people died in the war against Omir Sirakusa. Good people, brave and loyal. This is an insult to their memory, their sacrifice and the testament of their endeavours.

I'm not whining, nor expect Gutter Press to modify their press release. And, while I've laughed and enjoyed previous articles by them, even those that made fun of the Amarr Empire like the amarrian surfers one, this one is a big "no" for me. I've fought Omir Sarikusa, I was there and I've paid my part of the price. And it was a very very big one. And not only did I pay it, but many more did, some even their lifes.

One thing is to bring tabloid news and laughs on unimportant social matters, another is to make fun of events such as this. Or should we write an article on how respected Admiral Yanala was murdered by Tibus Heth in cold blood? Or the Ray of Matar became a zombie due to a jovian nanite infection? Some things are not to be made fun of, and death is one of those.

This depends entirely on how they die, dear.

Some meet it well. Some do not.

Some on the rack screaming. Some with a curse on their lips. Some with a prayer. Some with defiance, some with acceptance.

To some we give honor, and the rest we discard like so much trash. Forgotten and useless.

What about this one from last year, about the Empress partaking in drug-fuelled orgies?

C'mon, the odds of it being true are pretty low, but there're reasons they say you'll go blind reading this sort of thing.

It is only teasing if it is not followed-through.

You'll see, and you will weep.

Making me weep is not much of an accomplishment.

Do you know that story about the little boy and his rescued slaver hound? The one where the hound dies at the end.
