Position with CCP: EVE Online Technical Director

Once again I'd like to bring a position available within CCP to the attention of you guys.

CCP is looking for a Technical Director to co-lead the software development effort of EVE Online. The Technical Director will make strategic technology decisions for the game as well as CCP's shared technology platform. This will require thinking long term as well as driving the needs of the project forward in the short term. The Technical Director will lead the efforts of the programmers. The position will require strong programming and architecture abilities and will also require personal programming contributions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Primary technical leader and decision maker for the development of EVE Online
  • Collaborates with the CTO and other Technical Directors as needed.
  • Makes strategic technology decisions for the game and the company
  • Provides technical leadership and mentorship to local programmers
