Fly with someone. Mark the jammers and he can kill 'em off. I also use med drones so I can grab the target when you get the occassional break in jamming and they can go to work while I go make a cup of tea.

I also thought the jamming was toned down a bit in a recent patch too. Did I think wrong on this?

Well, it makes it so you get a lock the instant the jams run out. And if enough people do it for it to measurably affect TQ performance, CCP will change what is among the stupidest of game mechanics sooner or later.

Yes, one person out of 40-50k spamming the ctrl-key is quite likely to bring the servers to their knees. Please oh please don't do this. You'll ruin the game for everyone.

If you have drones out all the time, bring them in. It appeared to change the jamming events for me. Then next opening, lock the jammer, launch and set drones aggressive, target drones on lock, breath easier...


What I think is stupid is that they haven't fixed the "after all jammers are dead still seeing lock timer pop up" bug. It's pretty lame that that hasn't been fixed by now....

whats the problem again? you don't want to change ships or fit a ECCM?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

1st -supposedly NPC jams are unaffected by ECCM, but actually after alot of testing it just seems that their jams have an extremely high strength. No I'm not gonna link 1 of the 1000 times this has been brought up on the forums and CCP has made the claim that ECCM doesn't effect NPCs. Suffice it to say, NPC behavior is random and your fitting seems to have some effect on the way in which they act, by this i mean, if you go into a site with X set up and get perma jammed, the next time with Y set up (something that less dps and more tank or w/e) you might see a decrease in jamming, just from the random behavior of npcs.

2nd- This is an MMO, and I have a feeling you were working on the Caldari Epic Arc, which both of these facts indicate... maybe you should have some friends (My corp CEO and I usually tag team the faction epic arcs).
