Alliance Logo Neglect

CCP was so good with putting in alliance logos like four months ago when you went through the queue of alliance logos and accepted the majority of them.

TEST's was denied because it was not ~ELITE PVP~ enough. Oh well, we put another one in shortly afterwards.

But still we have not received a response from anyone regarding it. And major patches and expansions have gone by, without any logo additions at all. I'm sure many other alliances are in the same boat, either whose logos have been rejected or have just fulfilled the requirements.

Please don't have us wait months and months and months (again) for us to get our alliance logo accepted and put in the game! We could failcascade any minute now! Don't forget about us!

What was our logo again? I forgot since it`s been so long since when we had to vote for the alliance logo.

Is this process not partially automated?

i.e.


  1. you upload the image
  2. script checks its properties
  3. sends rejections of low quality / incorrect format
  4. if it passes that test, pings someone with a good eye to look at it
  5. if it's good quality, accept it
  6. if it's terrible, canned reply (which contains all of the parameters its compared against for help)


There really should be a fairly low 'human involvement' factor here and Corp / Alliance logos are a huge part of the sandbox experience to players like me. Some of the quality work done by my peer players is quite exceptional. It really should be acknowledged!!!

I actually poked some of the CCP folks about this, because the K162 alliance logo is also in limbo. They are pushing to get some folks to run through the approximately 40 logos they have sitting the in queue right now. No firm ETA, but when I find more I will let you know.

I can only imagine the mount of paperwork involved in getting one guy to spend 15 minutes clicking an accept button.

Seriously if they just need a guy to go through the logos and push butan, then give me the keys. I'll have it done in an hour or two.
There's got to be more to it than that, or CCP has no excuse.

Logo still not accepted?? I wouldn't know because I don't log in any more. GREAT GAME CCP.... get at least 1 thing done that players want! FREE MIDDLE MANAGEMENT DINO!

You'd think they'd have an automated script that check for size and alliance age and then lets the executor upload it.
