What about creating another filter option for region of activity? Blink

Simple as that, when trying to find corp in Domain, I would just place filter option and not opening corp info, searching for HQ, Evershore, no. Metropolis, no. Sinq, no... aaaargh, last of corps shown, none in right region Big smile

well, thats another thing i am missing there... There is not an option to look at page 2 of results.

Regions used to be in the old version, never understood why they took them out

The HQ of a corporation may have little or nothing to do with where they actually operate.

In its most basic form, it's just the station where the founder pressed the "Create Corporation" button.

The Corp. management interface allows you to assign corporate hangar access at any station where the corp has rented an office.

Actually running your corp out of your HQ can even be a disadvantage, as anyone looking to cause you pain will know where the best system to hang out and hunt your corp members down is.

I used to get phone books all the time and we used to get coupons in the back on em. There was this one time we went to eat at this restaurant where we got this there 50% OFF OUR MEAL WHUU JJVJ

It is an only information (before asking directly to CEO/recruiter) on possible location of corp operations currently aviable. Corp was there at some point of its existence, it is likely that they might still operate in that region if not that solar system. But as you say, they might be elsewhere, that means even harder to find a corporation for players that wish to stay in specific region for whatever reason they have.

Just drop a quick evemail to a recruiter (or pop into their recruitment chat channel) of any corp whose advert piques your interest.

If they are in any way serious about recruiting people, they will at the very least let you know if you are wasting your time talking to them if you have a specific region of space that you wish to operate out of.

Any corp who doesn't answer any relevant questions that you, as a potential recruit, might have in a timely manner......is probably not a corp you want to join if you are looking for an active and organised outfit.

There's no reason a field to state region of operation couldn't be included, this could be set when the ad is created. Obviously it would need a blank option for corps that roam all the time (or a no fixed abode option)
