Logging off to switch toon

It would appear if i want to play with one of my alts (single account) when i press the escape key the only option i have now is "quit game" there is no longer a log off option?

so i have to quit everytime i want to switch? why are ccp unable to create a simple character selection window like WOW.

My thoughts exactly... there is however an option... you can leave the launcher running so you can relaunch the game faster? What a stupid way of solving a problem...but, it's there.
