Hi folks,

Many years ago, I spent a lot of time out in Stain, making a few bits and pieces necessary to survive. I'm thinking of heading back out there with a fistful of BPOs in order to make a selection of T1 fitted T1 cruisers and frigs. What skills would I need to make an entire selection of, say, Amart cruisers, and frigates, combat Ned with standard modules?

I think T1 stuff needs just industry 1, but you do want some of the support skills even if you dont want to make it into real industry.

You need more skills if you start to manufacture rigs and T2 stuff.

You'll need to get minerals from somewhere. If you mine your own you'll need various mining skills, and if you refine your own ore you need a station to do it in (forget POS refineries, they're useless), refining skills, and possibly standings with the station owner. If you don't mine your own, you need reliable mining friends who will sell to you, or you will have to import minerals from somewhere else. if you are importing minerals from highsec you might as well just import hulls and modules. Of course, if you are importing modules there is no reason to limit yourself to T1.

If you go to Stain and want to make Amarr ships, you should try to get most of your modules from ratting loot. Those are meta items which are better than the T1 stuff you can make yourself.

Come 6NJ in Venal and make us lots of replacement ships plz :).
we don't like the meta 1 modules though sadly but lots and lots of t1 ships would be sweet.
ask me in game for a list of ships we like to suicide in (and thus need replacing often).

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

I can assure you that mining and standings will not be required, Hauler spawns are great for building T1 ships and in Stain I used to get loads of them.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.
