Ecm Drones are hurting 1vs1

Your choices for 1vs1's

Bring ECCM- Win vs people that bring ECM drones, but be down a mid/low slot and lose to anyone that does not use them

Dont bring ECCM-Level playing field with people that dont use ECM drones. but lose to anyone that brings them


I realize there are a thousand threads about this but im butthurt so ya.

This just in - a non-damaging choice in tactics is effective. More at 11.

Also, if being down one mod is the difference between winning and losing, you're doing it so wrong.

saying that 5 damage drones is more effective or anywhere near as effective as 20 seconds of gun/missle damage is foolish.

Watch some pvp videos. Target ecm drones, web them, use your drones to kill them and win!!!

Nope, just the pilots skill. ECM drones are not an issue for me because I have learned how to deal with them. Same as those falcon alts.

Target ECM drones? Thats quite a oxymoron. Also the time it takes to target down 5 drones you have lost the fight.

Im glad you can still win a fight loseing 20/40/60 seconds of damage, I'm sure plenty wish they had your "powers"

Its called playing smart, you should try it. We have a good number of toys that will wipe out those drones and just as many tactics.

Of course one mod means something, in a 1vs1 being down a mod vs a simliar ship class almost guarantees defeat.

1vs1, using a smart bomb guarantees guarantees defeat. Its just like useing ECCM. Your down a mod slot ( this time a weapon slot) you will lose the fight.

Shoot the ECM Drones :)

I am amazed at the amount of fight I have had when in my little tristian with 4 Combat Drones and 1 ECM and people don't shoot the drones.
