how does acceleration control speed increase work?

it says it increases the speed for ab or mwd by 5% per level but im just wondering is it:

5% per level of the 500% (for mwd) eh at level v a mwd would give 625%

an added 5%? eg mwd at v would give 525% speed bonus

or some other kind of adding that i cant think of?

It gives 625% You can see this by doing a show info in a program like eft with the skill at 0 and at 5.

It won't work out exact for your m/s due to thrust factor. (( It will be relatively close ))

Confirming the above. And also the fact it also depends on your ship mass (mainly affected by plates)

also good to know that training armor honeycombing will get that slight extra usefulness
