Thank you so much CCP, all of my shortcuts were awful, all of my preferences were sup par, I had the game customized just like I like it, but this was obviously sup par and obviously out of alignment with how the game should be played.

All of those chat windows? Didn't want them anyway. Who needs to talk with friends across the universe, or be able to coordinate with corp/alliance mates on specific subjects.

I also love to painstaking set up my overview tabs again. My favorite thing to do in years gone by has been to reset overview settings after patches, I am so glad that you have moved your game updates back to the standard set to years gone by.

Also, where has my log off button gone? That was totally useless, I definitely want to wait for a new instance of the game to load, or keep my launcher open.

This really kind of sucks. I forgot how spoiled I was by your updates not resetting every single setting to default. Also, your default settings suck.

The settings aren't gone. The launcher on the initial try will not use the default location for settings, so you're reset to defaults. Just close everything and then restart the launcher. It should revert back to the old folder structure and find your old settings again.

indeed he is correct i had same issue

Welcome to the Features & Ideas Discussion Forum where you've provided nothing of value to the community except to whinemoanb*tch. Go and ragequit if you feel that strongly about how poor CCP is and their software updates or at least search for a solution before you add some clutter to a good Forum.

I managed to get around every issue by reading the feed on Facebook from others whilst on the bus on my way home from work! I didn't take to the Forum to flame CCP and everything they've ever created because I was too damn lazy to go and look for a solution myself.

Mine did revert back the 2nd time I logged in.

I'm not prone to ragequits, but it seriously pissed me off that I'd have to re-do all my settings, and I was greatly relieved to see that it wasn't necessary after all.

is not working for everyone. the fact that it has done it at all is total **** **** and ccp needs to seriously consider self inflicted gut gouging after this **** up. again.

Wow! I've just come from reading another of your fantastically written posts on a thread where you call the OP a moron and here you are writing with your shift-key down and hitting the number 8 for quite a while. Take Keyboard Skills to Level 5 and Decency to Level 10 and you might be OK.
