Simple little idea was C C P adds a 60 min log of in to game. So e.g if you have not touched the keyboard or mice in 60 mins Then the game will give you a 5 min warning before kicking of the game. Thank simply come back in and log back in.

Sounds like a waste of dev resources that actually adds nothing to the game Shocked

Get your self a mouse shacking program for your computer (does not break the Eula as it has nothing to do with the game) and suddenly your system will never get logged off.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Yes, because everyone who mines, hauls, station trades, boosts, reps POS or heaven forbid, waits on a titan for a PVP op to start, needs to be logged off repeatedly. Roll

Why? AFK is not a crime and no-one should be forced out of game as we all pay for access 23.5/7/365. Also for those of us who contribute to market price checking and who use their accounts to check market prices while docked up this would hurt the community. Some of us also scout for hours on end just perched above a gate quietly watching and planning...but not touching anything...and you want to log us off? You probably don't like "AFK" Cloakers in your system, am I right? Is this a cloaked "Anti-Cloak Solution" thread?

Why or how did you come up with this suggestion? An idea always springs for some stimulus so please share with us where you got this one and your reasoning behind it.

-1 from me until I see some more detail.

EDIT: Points for posting with a non-Noob Char though.

Sorry idea was not ment to offend any one it was simply a case if like my self you play eve for long ours and fall asleep that the game would notice it. And start a timer to log you of safely. In most cases people use the mice or keyboard at some point so this should not effect people in that way but for excample you go out and leave the game on buy mistake after a set time the timer would kick in give you 5 min count down than log you out of game. As c.c.p like people to be active in the game I was sure this might me a welcome idea. But if not never mind. Back to the thinking mode.

I think it would be much easier to program if after 60 minutes of inactivity you disappear from local .. so as people don't think to scan you down we can call this feature the "Very Safe local Log-off" and then you will reappear in local when say you activate a module.

My apologies OP, I probably came across as a ranting idiot and I didn't mean to be.

I can see why you posted up, it's something different but I HAVE fallen asleep at the KB and I've lost a ship because of it but it comes back to actions = consequences. The Governement doesn't lift my car off of the motorway if I fall asleep behind the wheel to keep me safe, I am exposed to the danger of a crash and injuring people (this is only theoretical obviously) so I don't see why EVE should be any different.

I don't want to have to log in every 1 hour or 30 mins. I want to be able to log-in, do my thing, go have dinner, come back and be where I was how I was with a long list of scams to read through if parked up in a Trading Hub Smile The only reason we ever have to log-out is Downtime, Char Switch or patch otherwise we'd never have to unless we wanted to Lol

And to
