Does the new launcher not honor the system Proxy Server settings (windows)

I only bring it up because the old one did.

It's possible I've gotten something misconfigured on my laptop, but basically, the system stores your proxy settings under Control Panel ->Internet Properties->LAN Settings (under the Proxy Group). Your web browsers all honor this, and the old updater did as well.

What I'm seeing now is that the new launcher is giving me a python error because it's getting garbage back from the web requests, which is expected on my network unless you honor the proxy settings.

Thanks for any advice on this.
