Getting new patch to work

I hae problems with the new patch.

I had to manually clean the cache, restart the launcher, chnage settings to close lancher afetr eve starts.

But ut was tiresome.

After some investigation it seems that i can remove one directory and thet gets me going every time.

The only thing is that i have to type in my username every time i login.

i did a rm on the directory .wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/CCP/EVE2/launcher/cache/BrowserCache

Thanks. This helped a lot.

I was getting slightly frustrated with not being able to log on.

I have now changed to start my eve client from a small script!

I still have the old flags to make setting in the eve directory and not in shared one

Here is the script:

Aaaaaand then the fix stopped working.

Starting eve with ExeFile.exe still works. Though at some point all of my personal settings were destroyed.

Got the same problem.

About 1 in 20 times it works by deleting the launcher cache. So ExeFile.exe it is!
