EVE New Citizens Q&A

Hello guys,

I'm a returning player that played on-and-off since 2006. I've always been in FW and enjoyed it, and as you can tell from my KB, I've been trying to get into PvP action again (with varying degrees of success I might add).

Now, the problem I face is that I'm poor as dirt when it comes to ISK. At this moment I only have about 250 Million, which means that fitting a Cruiser even takes a bite out of my wallet. At this point, if I decide to send even cheap T1 frigates into the grinder it means I'm losing money faster than I seem to make it, which makes me reluctant to take some fights simple because of financial reasons.

I hear all sorts of things about how easy it is to make money, and sure, I've tried running L4s, but I don't find them particularily fun and I don't think I'm very good at running them efficiently (I have a Dominix, use the cookie-cutter fit... and it just takes forever to complete a mission). I'm trying to use the Factional Warfare LP to buy say Comets and sell them on the market, which went well for two days and now I can't seem to sell those (I could freight them over to Dodixie and try there, rather than where I sell them now, but I don't have freighter skills and flying a Transport while in FW is exactly the kind of mistake I hunt squids in high-sec for).

Any advice on how to make money? What should I do with the LP store? I don't have any alts (this is the only toon I have) so I don't have the ability to make a trader (yet), so I basically have to make due with this character alone.

I'd really appreciate any advice I can get at the moment.

if you want it quick and dirty, use your LP for faction ammo and sell it on the spot. if you don't mind investing some time and SP, train up trading skills, have red frog haul your ammo for you and sell it remotely in the trade hub of your choice.
if you want to streamline even further, train an industry alt who will haul, manufacture and sell stuff for you. while you're at it, you may as well get some PI going, or some other semi-passive income.

1: put alt in enemy faction warefare.
2: join oposing fleet with alt
3: ???
4: profit

Just be careful not to flood the market of whatever item you sell.
