I was always told that a picture says a thousand word. Please accept this 1056 word comment on it.

I was amused by the chaos and by the new features. The feature I find most amusing is the fact the launcher that removes the login screen is announced by the message on... you guessed it, the login screen while it NOT announced on the new launcher.

It's not really lock-material. The thread simply points out a slightly entertaining inconsistency that occurred while introducing this new feature. An inconsistency that can easily be amended.

I think the new launcher is great. Now I don't have to quit client to switch chars.

I ***** a lot about what CCP does, but outside of the botched launch, I just don't see the issue with the new launcher.

I mean you can completely bypass it, by doing a shortcut to the exe file.
