CCP give us old launcher back

ffs, why is it so hard to deploy functional software on live server, not some piece of **** prototypes.
The new launcher isnt functional, its broken and annoying, I dont want to login in the launcher, type my user name over and over again and accept EULA over and over again.
GIVE US THE OLD ONE, it was working fine!

Run that directly and there you go.

The worst thing I've found about new client is that the 'Log Off' button has gone from the Esc menu. Used to be nice and easy to launch a couple of clients and then close the launcher. Could switch to alts to install quick industrial job and then come back to mains, now it's a real pain in the ass having to shut down client, keep launcher open all the time and switch user etc etc. Meh.

get rid of this stupid launcher thing.
it is annoying, slow, and almost looks nicer than the game itself!!
Put resources on game improvements please....

Hey, where did the loading screen with nice picture and music go? I kind of liked it. It has also been in Eve through expansions to show the theme of each expansion. Now it is just simply missing. It goes directly to character selection, which has just a static background of mostly black space.

Yes, please get rid of the launcher and bring back the sign on screen with its music! It is really annoying to type in your password each time you open the launcher, AND agree to the EULA multiple times. Just get rid of the launcher and bring back the sign on screen with its music! I quite liked it.

The only thing I dislike about the new launcher is the constant "accept EULA" thing other then that.. its kind of nice not to have to deal with closed socket errors

There is nothing that makes me an angrier panda like when I get home after a long day at the office... only to watch 3 separate machines download the same launcher update and get 3 completely different errors.... struggle to get all 3 working, re-download or copy / paste working clients, fix them and then proceed to have to deal with lost settings & preferences, channels, defaulted overviews.....

All because some office dweeb had a bright spark and figured: "single sign-on using some over-sized launcher that's slower than death.. yea... lets do that."






Eve Online... where getting into the game will take up 90% of the next decade...

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

Dear CCP,

Did it dawn on anyone to think about the amount of time a player looks at the log in screen Vs playing the game. The log in does not have to be flashy and have a "Gee wiz, wow" factor for a really great game.

it now take at least twice the time to switch toon now, and this is provided the launcher doesn't **** himself up in the process, wich happen 50% of the time

regarding the updates, their are many other ways to achieve smooth updates than using a launcher, but it seems that since many games use this crappy process now, everyone have to do the same....

launchers are dirty in all ways

So far my success to attempts ratio is 3:3...2 of my own and one of a friends. Interesting...
