As long as the spider stays cloaked on the wall you are safe. Make sure you have something to swat it if it uncloaks and arm yourself with the bubble wrap in case you have to start popping them.

I armed myself.

arms are like things that you use to touch other things with.

Now if you will excuse me I am about to go into full lockdown mode. I will be going onto the roof and pretending to be a vent.

Spiders are more clever than we think. We need to do something about them or in 10 years we will be their slaves.
For example i'm 20 years old and i can't use any cloaking device yet.

Cloaky Spider......................has got to become a new EVE-meme. Most indeed.

Edit: If it's cloaked, how do you know it's a spider ?

How? Dude..... EVERYONE knows that spiders are the only arthropods that have enough powergrid to fit a cloak. Didn't pay attention in beginning high school zoology? They totally covered that.

Also: begun, the cloaky spider EVE meme has.

Seriously.... this is right up there on the hilarity scale with "why you violence my boat?", and "you put beer in a sodastream?!"....

OP wins the internet for today.

Nope not drastic enough

Then it's time for desperate measures. You need to bubble every entrance and exit to your room. By that, I mean go out and buy one of those big rolls of bubble wrap and coat your room with it. It has the added effect that when you get ganked, you can throw **** and not have to worry.

Go kill it...

and as it's a "real life" spider you can use water wapor to find it, unlike in EvE YOU HAVE NO WAY TO FIND THE CLOAKED RETARDS EVEN IF YOU WANTED TO... Twisted

+2 to anything that allows me to find claoked ships in eve.

After centuries of debating and justifying... Break Cloaks tm

Is the spider still there? I'm curious.

Don't be scared, because being afk is not a crime.

If you don't like spiders in the same room as you, then go and play in another room until the spider logs off.

I think the spider should change the way he plays to fit what the OP wants. After all, if life is a sandbox then the spider should play the OP's way.

The spider isn't even AFK. Its there. Watching me. Waiting.

Spiders don't even use keyboards.

their hands are too small.

there better not be any spiders in the hall of fame.

I have already extensively verified that there are no spiders in my hall.

I can't do this anymore.

First its cloaky spiders...next youll be complaining about the blob of fleas that attack your legs, or how your dog ganked you in your doorway.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I have two Maine Coons. If you have never experienced that breed of cat... they are basically the result of a mad scientist's attempt to make dogs look like cats.
So, what I have to deal with every day is a pair of retractable-clawed, 3 1/2 foot-long, 20-lb Labradors that never bark and crave the taste of fish and bird.

These two adorable bags of murder will gate camp the front door every time I exit "system" (aka: my apartment), and ambush me when I come back through the gate. But, they're decent corpmates, so they only take me down to armor, and warp off.
I'm pretty sure they qualify as HACs.

Then, there's the two noobships we're fostering for the next month. Yes.... because two full-grown Maine Coons weren't enough, my gf and I had to volunteer to foster a pair of tiny MC kittens. I'm not even going into all the crazy jams they get themselves into.

Now I want to make a list comparing all the animals people tend to have in their houses to ship types.

Pretty sure most dogs would count as Battleships.
Pit Bulls, Huskies, Malamutes, GSD's and wolf hybrids are definitely Marauders.
Great Danes, Dobies, Wolfhounds and Saint Bernards are probably Dreads.

Desert Lynxes and Norwegian Forrest Cats are Battlecruisers.
