I opened my client today hoping to play some EVE today but it had to update. After waiting some time I came back to the computer to find this

(3/4): APPLYING EVE_ONLINE_538542_538542_WIN.PATCH: 100.0%

It has been like this for about a hour now. How do I deal with this? Help please.

Can you guys look at the log files you find in the (eve client)\launcher\cache folder and see if there are any exceptions? Or better yet, send the logs to me?

Which folder/file do you want in the cache folder?

I had a problem with the launcher last night after it was updated. After aabout 8 hrs of waiting and cursing. I turned off the computer and went to work. When I returned, it was working as expected. You might, if you haven't yet done so, follow the first rule of updating programs......Reboot the coumputer. Might be the only thing needed to fix it...just a thought.

Or try restarting the launcher only first before rebooting the whole thing, the automatically started instance from the old self update mechanism might have some issues under certain circumstances.. :-)
