Reverse Engineering profits

Hello

I have been wondering for a while if it is possible to profit from reverse engineering, precisely by buying hull and other sleeper parts from the market. I've seen very few people actually talking about it in industry chat and elsewhere, and thus would appreciate your opinion on it. Anybody currently doing this kind of work ?

I sell drones and drones accessories.

Yes, you can print isk with it.

The reason you probably don't hear many people talking about it is because of the high skill requirement and mediocre return for it. You can manufacture a lot of other things that will net you the same isk and not have to go through the cumbersome activity of creating T3 ships.

If you really want to make money at doing it, go explore WH space and get your own relics etc.

Definitely possible. I don't do it myself but I know a bunch of people who make a lot of ISK doing it.

It's skill intensive, it gets frustrating when expensive RE jobs either fail or give worthless subsystem blueprints, but it definitely is profitable.

The market is very up and down on anything t3 related but check out the eve isk per hour application and itll give you profitability numbers. They are profitable sometimes, but lately the margins have been getting slim so depending on your isk situation youre most likely better doing other things.

Just say "No!" to subsystems. Far worse than doing invention.
