Some Time ago there was a Jukebox in the HUD of the screen.

Now there is not a Jukebox.

I would like to see it brought back.

The old jukebox was an outdated resource-hog. In addition to this, it caused a lot of problems for the Linux community.
I'd rather see CCP work on improving the game or fixing their launcher.

Just get a proper audio player with an overlay and play your music there.

They are removing all the good things from the game, jukebox, login screen, they are trying to make it like just another korean/chinese mmo junk ......

The only comment I wish to make is about how lazy you are for not realizing you can just make a playlist in Windows Media Player, and play/pause/skip with the pre-set buttons on your Logitech G keyboard. Plus, it has that wicked cool lcd screen you can tweak so that is shows you what song is playing.

That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right...

CCP has already stated the jukebox is gone and its not coming back, so not sense in trying to get it back since they have clearly already said no.

I was very sad to see the JB go. I signed the petition and linked that thread as people asked about it in help.

I still miss it sometimes, but there's plenty of workarounds for sound, and I found some really cool sites that contain excellent Eve inspired music. http://www.alienhand.dk/eve-music/

I guess the old adage of no improvement without change certainly holds true here.

How do I make only one client play the music and the other 5 stay silent, and have this choice persist?

I don't miss the jukebox. The music of Eve is absolutely beautiful when rendered by a traditional orchestra with good arrangement. The...midi-versions that shipped with the game never moved me. Not that it was bad music, but that it was a mediocre presentation of the music.

Now, if they did some more modern game things like interweaving different strands and going up and down tempo depending on what's happening in game...yeah, yeah, I might want that.

Just a straight playlist of the tracks, though, not interested.

Of all the years I've played I must have used it 3 or maybe 4 times, so surely that warrants keeping it in-game.
