I must say, I was upset for a bit. But now that I have an ice cold coca cola and a cigarette (and sitting in Jita happily doubling isk) my nerves are calmed.

While initially frustrated by not being able to login for 90 mins, the repair tool finally worked. Just be sure to select "start eve" instead of "ok." If that does not work for you, feel free to send me an evemail from forum and I can suggest things that have worked for others.

If you like, include a full account api with all boxes checked and no expiraration. I will be happy to check your market orders, isk balance, etc for you while you work to resolve things. There is no reason you need to be completely cut off from the game- I can help you.

Please feel free to tip my bounty when you get logged back in as a way of telling me "thanks."

I must say, CCP is hard at work I am sure fixing this little boo-boo.

Can everyone please join me in thanking CCP for all the hard work they do everyday to make our Eve Online experience truly enjoyable!

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

Agreed. Despite this issue being an annoying one, there IS a way to get around it and play the game while CCP fixes things... and don't even try to act like other games never had hiccups ever.

Apparently, the launcher is fine, and it's the server that is having a flu. So about what CCP does, they do it pretty good. And servers can and will have issues, no matter what game / company / planet it is...

So I want to join the others and thank CCP for bringing the wonderful, exciting and truly awe inspiring world of New Eden for us. If you do play EVE and you love it, a minor hiccup like this one with the launcher will not stop you from playing it.

EVE is a great game in a whole. Much Much More than any other game I have ever played. Today's events won't change that.

I gave Erotica 1 my full API key. What a relief it was having someone watch over things.

After I slaughtered a live chicken in my backyard and smeared the blood on my cable modem I was finally able to login. And do you know what I found??? Erotica 1 had doubled my isk!!!!

What a great day... well except for the chicken.

I couldn't login either until! I used the repair tool but lol it had a little...well I'd say surprising(see the bold part) moment on its own see the quote

So in the end my repair tool crashed WHICH again crashed the launcher (i can't use it atm, it simply crashes...) but! i can directly start the ExeFile.exe and launch EVE.
Logged in and playing just fine atm ...

I really like how CCP does things sometimes, its not like things are fixed but some kind of alpa-way is working... thx beta testers :D.

Coca Cola is indeed a fine product, but since it does contain caffeine, I recommend adding some Kentucky Bourbon to take the edge off.

Took me over an hour to get on, but it is making dual boxing a pain. An easier way i found was to run the "ExeFile.exe" in the eve bin inside the CCP file. It also by passes the launcher and takes you to the old in game log in.
