Temporary fix for the May 21 launcher issue for new launcher update resulting in "Status Unknown"

I copied this info from another post today (credit goes to the guy who actually come up with the help). I had to go into my Bin folder and run the ExeFile directly to make it work for me. It simply bypasses the launcher and takes you directly into Eve. Works like a charm.


***ATTENTION*** -- TEMPORARY FIX

Repair and play.

1) C:\CCP\EVE\repair.exe

1a) If the repairer fails - re-run it until it completes.

2) C:\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe

The game should load and let you connect without issue..

DO NOT under any circumstances re-run the patcher or this will break and you will have to do it over again.

Note - This took me about 5 minutes for the repairer to run.

Started trying to do this but the repair tool is failing to run completely sending me directly to its error log, and from what i'm reading it appears it can't connect

Okay fixed my issue so far downloaded the new Repair tool, which is allowing me to repair.http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Client_Repair_Tool go here for updated repair tool...remember to move it to your eve folder before running it. Then follow the OP's original instructions.

Thanks! My skill queue just ran out, and I was annoyed at not being able to log in. This works like a charm. Essentially, the repair tool is a slower version of the launcher's patching functionality.

yeah this hasnt worked for me.

Any other ideas or maybe CCp can come up with a fix??????
