Yes you are suppposted to. I do and i am stupid but then again humans learn out of mistakes, and some, need to make the mistake more than once :).

I did quality control myself on software, the problem is the ghost effect, after a week of crunsh you won't see bugs anymore. Your employer doesn't listen if you tell him to get a second opinion or someone else who isn't into that stuff at all (doesn't matter, it has been proven: people who aren't affiliated with that type of task see errors faster and better than the one who was tasked to write the code).

Now we wait for the mother of the coder to check his writing errors and in a couple of hours after the pie got cold and the coffee pitcher goes into round 2 a fix rolles out.

Be happy, your windows or mac still works :D there have been worse patches ^^
